Since 1960, Service Plus Credit Union has been providing financial products and services to the UC Riverside community. Founded as Riverside Campus Federal Credit Union by just seven UCR employees, the credit union has since grown to over 7,500 members, with the financial strength of more than $85 million in assets. Service Plus is a full-service, not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative.

In 2005, as the credit union celebrates 45 years of service, the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" remains the guiding principle.
