WELCOME TO UCR STAFF ASSEMBLY!   Welcome to UCR Staff Assembly!  As president for 2007-08, I am honored to introduce or reacquaint you with staffs’ campus organization for joint shared governance.  Our Assembly is one of 10 constituent groups in the UC system which serves as a voice for staff and conduit for staff issues with senior administration.  Among other things, the Assembly provides leadership and makes recommendations on behalf of the staff body.

While elected members of the board meet monthly to conduct business, the body at-large convenes quarterly in general meetings to engage matters that enhance the mission of UCR and UC.  Both a consultative and deliberative body, the group embraces, as its key goals, strengthening staff contributions to the campus community and improving the work environment for career employees.
