People Helping People Award
The People Helping People Award is presented annually to a current, career UCR staff member in recognition of outstanding or exemplary volunteer service within the Inland Southern California region.
 
This award is intended to honor service in the community, beyond the nominee's normal job duties. This award does not recognize performance in job-related activities/functions.

 

Who is Eligible?
 
Eligibility extends to any career staff member in good standing and not on probation.
 
Selection Process
Individuals must be nominated for the award. The Staff Assembly Recognition Committee and the Staff Assembly
Executive Board will review applications and determine the winner.
Applications must be completed with the following information:
  • Name and current position of nominee
  • Description of the service or assistance they have provided
  • Description of how the service benefited others or why it is important
  • References that may be contacted for verification of service
Presentation

Winners will be chosen by the Recognition Committee along with the Staff Assembly Executive Board. The winners/runners-up will be announced at our Spring General Meeting. Award recipients will be  celebrated for their contributions at the Chancellor’s Residence.
