Scholarships

Staff Assembly Scholarship Program

Staff Assembly offers scholarships to career staff employees who have completed their probation period. The scholarship fund can be used to offset the costs of professional development programs or higher education degrees. Scholarships are available and are limited to a maximum of $250 per employee per academic year, between September 1 and August 31. There is a limit of one application per scholarship type, per person, per academic year.

Associate Chancellor Staff Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility

To be considered, applicants must be a UC Riverside career staff member (at least half-time) who is pursuing a UCR degree in any discipline, with a preference for those pursuing a graduate degree.

Applicants must also note the commitment of a mentor who will assist with achieving outcomes reported in the application.

Deadline

Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are closed. Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will open in Spring 2027.

UCR Retirees' Association Undergraduate Student Scholarship

The UCR Retirees’ Association (UCRRA) invites UCR students to apply for the UCRRA Undergraduate Student Scholarship for $5,000. Thanks to the countless contributions from retired staff of UCR, the UCRRA and its members are honored to offer this scholarship to undergraduate students to support their educational goals and success at UCR.
