Staff Who Make a Difference Award

The Staff Who Make a Difference Award is presented annually to four career staff members, one each in the fields of administrative, professional, service and technical. The award recognizes individuals who have made a positive impact on the campus community, implemented creativity and/or innovation in the workplace, displayed teamwork or leadership strengths and shown a commitment to the university's principles of community, diversity, equal opportunity and affirmative action.

Who is Eligible?

Eligibility extends to any career staff member in good standing and not on probation.


Selection Process

Individuals must be nominated for the award. The Staff Assembly Recognition Committee and the Staff Assembly Executive Board will review applications and determine the winner.


Winners will be chosen by the Recognition Committee along with the Staff Assembly Executive Board. The winners/runners-up will be announced at a later date. Award recipients will be celebrated for their contributions at a later date.
